FULL REVIEW:
I entered into a contract with Fast Corporation LLC to pickup and deliver my home office and personal belongings from NYC to Houston, TX. This was single handedly the worst experience of my life and I would never ever do business with them again.
Here is a summary of what they did:
– On the day of pickup, my “estimate” was inflated by almost $1500 despite having provided an accurate inventory of items to be delivered with pictures.
– They nickel-and-dimed me for everything including things such as “heavy item”, “packing”, “long distance to apartment”. I lived in an apartment building in Long Island City how far could it have been from the entrance, and the initial contract clearly stated that packing and loading was included in the estimate but they charged me extra!!!
– I was given delivery estimates of 3-5 days after my “first available date”. The items were delivered more than 20 days after the promised date.
– The individual at Fast Transportation LLC, “Waed”, disappeared and stopped responding to my emails or telephone calls.
– I was promised that my items would be picked up, and delivered by Fast Transportation LLC. Instead they were handed off to another company called Alsaif Trucking.
– My items were delivered by some extremely rough looking, and shady people who did not work for Fast Transportation. They were dressed in shorts and T-shirts and wearing cheap plastic bathroom slippers!
– The people who delivered my items, Alsaif Trucking, are NOT EVEN REGISTERED WITH THE DOT AS HOUSEHOLD GOODS MOVERS.
– On delivery, my items were held hostage unless I paid extra for a surcharge that they deemed appropriate.
– I was threatened that my items would be dumped in storage if I did not pay an additional $750 in cash!!! I was also told that I would have to pay for the storage and pick up my items myself despite the contract clearly stating “30 days free storage” at the destination.
– The delivery people treated my items like garbage. I am going to write the next few bullets in caps because of the incredible damages and trauma this company inflicted on me and my family.
– 4-5 LARGE BOXES WERE STOLEN AND NEVER DELIVERED. ONE DYSON VACUUM WAS STOLEN.
– ONE OF THE LARGE BOXES THAT WAS STOLEN HAD THREE YEARS OF MY MEDICAL RESEARCH AND RESEARCH EQUIPMENT WHICH IS IRREPLACEABLE
– EVERY SINGLE BOX APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN INTENTIONALLY CRUSHED, THROWN AROUND, AND ITEMS PULLED OUT OF SEAMS THAT WERE CLEARLY TORN APART BY A HUMAN.
– EVERY SINGLE, AND I MEAN EVERY SINGLE, FURNITURE PIECE WAS DAMAGED. AND TABLES HAD THEIR LEGS BROKEN! DESPITE CAREFULLY WRAPPING EVERYTHING IN PROTECTIVE CLING WRAP, IT APPEARS THAT SOMEONE WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO DAMAGE MY FURNITURE.
– MY OFFICE DESK WAS DESTROYED BEYOND REPAIR
– AN EXPENSIVE HERMAN MILLER OFFICE CHAIR WAS NEVER DELIVERED AND LIKELY STOLEN
– I WAS GIVEN NO PAPERWORK ON DELIVERY CONFIRMING DELIVERY OR ANYTHING. THEY LITERALLY THREW EVERYTHING IN MY PLACE AND RAN OUT.
– THERE WERE SEVERAL ITEMS LEFT IN THE TRUCK AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THEM THEY BRUSHED ME OFF STATING THEY BELONGED TO SOMEONE ELSE AND RAN AWAY LIKE GUILTY THIEVES.
I have moved several times in my life and I am very familiar with damages that can occur during transport in a truck. The damages to my items by Fast Transportation went way, way, WAY above and beyond what any normal move causes. Dealing with these people was an incredibly painful experience and my entire life was turned upside down.
I have filed complaints against Fast Transportation LLC of Totowa NJ, with DOT (Complaint ID: 100240497), BBB (Complaint ID: 20686894), and Houston Police (Incident No: 1085807-23 S).
I STRONGLY BELIEVE ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HERE WERE PAID FOR BY “INTERNET REPUTATION” companies who bloat your profile with lovely reviews.
